Hogan Lovells: Proof in Trial Podcast Series
When Hogan Lovells first approached us, they were looking to create a podcast series that showcased the success and strength of their U.S. litigation team. They had identified a few cases they wanted to highlight, but needed to find the right format. Once we talked it over, we knew instinctively that these stories would be interesting to a wider audience and started to think beyond a typical corporate podcast.
The Project
It was an exciting project to take on as the depth and engagement levels that podcasting allows are unlike any other medium, with listeners committing over 20 minutes of their time to spend time with a brand. We drew inspiration from our love of true crime podcasts and set about creating a format that was heavily narrated and included soundbites from all the key players - including the clients. Narrated by Hogan Lovells partner Cate Stetson, the series draws on the human side of each case and (we think) is a truly compelling listen!
The Result
The series itself has not only been collaborative, but truly innovative in the traditional legal world. Our aim has always been to have the lawyers tell their personal story of each case, rather than use legal jargon and technical terms that would confuse a wider audience. Hogan Lovells was willing to trust our judgement and allowed us the space to create something truly unique. We are currently working on Series 3 - so stay tuned!
