HELLO! TV / Hola! TV Channel Identity

HELLO! is a market-leading lifestyle and celebrity publication that has been entertaining audiences since 1988. The family owned business was looking to increase its presence and create its own television channel. Northam was approached by the channel launch team to design the brand’s TV identity.


The Project

It was an exciting project and it played to a lot of our core strengths in animation and design. Our first mission was to learn all about the existing magazine brand. We went to Barcelona to meet the owning family and research the brand’s history. We wanted to really understand HELLO!’s mission and core values. We then created a visual identity for the proposed channel, which includes all of the graphical assets, stings and animations needed for launch. Northam also filmed the pilot programme in a London green screen studio.

The Result

Our participation in the project was exciting and helped the launch team pitch the project effectively, eventually gaining the funding and approval needed to launch the channel in South America. As former creative director for CNBC International, Dom enjoyed the experience and using his team’s skills to launch another successful television channel.
